Dense Microgreens Growing Tray (27 × 27 cm)

Durable, waterproof and ideal for microgreens

Thisdense microgreens growing trayis essential for controlled and successful cultivation of microgreens or sprouts. Thanks to the waterproof base, the tray functions aswater buffer, allowing you to perfectly regulate the moisture content in your substrate.
Use this tray in combination with a perforated tray for thebottom-watering technique– the most efficient and hygienic way of indoor growing.

Why choose a dense microgreens tray?

Optimal moisture control
The sealed tray captures excess water and prevents the substrate from drying out. This keeps your microgreens healthy and strong, without the risk of mold or root rot.

Sustainable and reusable
Made ofsturdy recycled plastic– resistant to repeated use and easy to clean.
A sustainable alternative to disposable trays that will last for years.

Efficient and practical

  • Indispensable for thebottom-watering technique
  • Perfect as a collection tray for indoor growing
  • Suitable for various substrates, such as coconut fibre, jute or hemp mats

Use in combination with perforated trays

This dense tray works best with ourPerforated Microgreens Tray.
Place the perforated seedbed tray on top of the closed tray to:

  • to give water from below (bottom-watering),
  • to avoid overwatering,
  • and to create a hygienic, clear growing system.

💡 Together they form a proven setup for growing microgreens such as radish, broccoli, sunflower or pea shoots.

BREEDING IN BRIEF

Day 1: Sowing and resting

Sprinkle the seeds evenly over the moist substrate and cover with a second tray. For the first few days, keep the seeds dark and moist, allowing them to develop strong roots and a firm base. The tray is slightly removed in the image to visualize the germination.

Day 3–4: Into the Light – Growth Begins

After a few days, the sprouts will push the lid upwards. Place the tray in the light (lamp or windowsill) and water daily. In no time, the plants will turn a vibrant green and grow upwards rapidly.

Day 7–9: Harvest & Enjoy

After a few days, the sprouts will push the lid upwards. Place the tray in the light (lamp or windowsill) and water daily. In no time, the plants will turn a vibrant green and grow upwards rapidly.

Grow it yourself!

In the dark, microgreens germinate and search for light, once they find it, they turn green and full of nutrients.
