Green Basil Microgreens Seeds (Organic)

Aromatic, spicy and a delicious challenge

With this organicGreen Basil Microgreens Seeds(Ocimum basilicum) allows you to grow fragrant microgreens with a rich, full basil flavor. The young plants combine the warm, spicy notes of basil with a slightly peppery undertone – ideal as a refined topping for pasta, salads, pizza, or caprese.

Basil microgreens grow a little slower than most varieties, but the reward is great: an intensely aromatic flavor that will make any home grower proud.

Growing tips

Use a fine, airy substrate such as coconut fiber or potting soil and keep it moist, but not wet. Sow the seeds close together, press lightly, and cover them.not – basil is a light germinator.
During the germination phase (4–6 days), cover the tray with foil or a transparent lid and place it in a warm place (20–25Β°C). As soon as the sprouts appear, place them under a grow light or in bright daylight. Water through the bottom of the tray and ensure adequate ventilation.

After about 18–25 days, your basil microgreens will be ready to harvest – just as the first true leaves appear.

BREEDING IN BRIEF

Day 1: Sowing and resting

Sprinkle the seeds evenly over the moist substrate and cover with a second tray. For the first few days, keep the seeds dark and moist, allowing them to develop strong roots and a firm base. The tray is slightly removed in the image to visualize the germination.

Day 3–4: Into the Light – Growth Begins

After a few days, the sprouts will push the lid upwards. Place the tray in the light (lamp or windowsill) and water daily. In no time, the plants will turn a vibrant green and grow upwards rapidly.

Day 7–9: Harvest & Enjoy

After a few days, the sprouts will push the lid upwards. Place the tray in the light (lamp or windowsill) and water daily. In no time, the plants will turn a vibrant green and grow upwards rapidly.

Grow it yourself!

In the dark, microgreens germinate and search for light, once they find it, they turn green and full of nutrients.
