Growing tips

Soak the seeds in water for 6–12 hours to speed germination. Then sow them close together on a layer of soil or coconut fiber about 2 cm deep.
Cover the tray with a second tray or lid and add some weight to encourage strong root development. After 2–3 days, remove the cover and place the tray in the light. Water daily from below to prevent mold. Harvest within 9–12 days by cutting the shoots just above the roots.

BREEDING IN BRIEF

Day 1: Sowing and resting

Sprinkle the seeds evenly over the moist substrate and cover with a second tray. For the first few days, keep the seeds dark and moist, allowing them to develop strong roots and a firm base. The tray is slightly removed in the image to visualize the germination.

Day 3–4: Into the Light – Growth Begins

After a few days, the sprouts will push the lid upwards. Place the tray in the light (lamp or windowsill) and water daily. In no time, the plants will turn a vibrant green and grow upwards rapidly.

Day 7–9: Harvest & Enjoy

After a few days, the sprouts will push the lid upwards. Place the tray in the light (lamp or windowsill) and water daily. In no time, the plants will turn a vibrant green and grow upwards rapidly.

Grow it yourself!

In the dark, microgreens germinate and search for light, once they find it, they turn green and full of nutrients.
