Growing tips

Soak the seeds in plenty of water for 8–12 hours to ensure even germination. Then sow them densely on a layer of approximately 2 cm of coconut fiber or fine potting soil and press firmly. Cover the tray with a second tray or lid and add some weight to encourage root growth.

After 4–5 days, the plants will push up the cover and place them in the light. Water daily from below to prevent mold.
Around day 7–8, you can carefully remove the seed pods by running your hand over the tops. Harvest after 10–12 days by cutting the shoots just above the roots.

BREEDING IN BRIEF

Day 1: Sowing and resting

Sprinkle the seeds evenly over the moist substrate and cover with a second tray. For the first few days, keep the seeds dark and moist, allowing them to develop strong roots and a firm base. The tray is slightly removed in the image to visualize the germination.

Day 3–4: Into the Light – Growth Begins

After a few days, the sprouts will push the lid upwards. Place the tray in the light (lamp or windowsill) and water daily. In no time, the plants will turn a vibrant green and grow upwards rapidly.

Day 7–9: Harvest & Enjoy
