Growing tips

Microgreens germinate best on the surface of the substrate. Don't cover the seeds, but use a dark tray or lid during the germination phase to retain moisture and encourage root growth.

After 2–3 days, the sprouts will begin to lift the cover – then place them in the light. Water daily from below to prevent mold. Within 5–7 days, the microgreens will be ready to harvest. Cut them just above the substrate and store them in a sealed container in the refrigerator.

BREEDING IN BRIEF

Day 1: Sowing and resting

Sprinkle the seeds evenly over the moist substrate and cover with a second tray. For the first few days, keep the seeds dark and moist, allowing them to develop strong roots and a firm base. The tray is slightly removed in the image to visualize the germination.

Day 3–4: Into the Light – Growth Begins

After a few days, the sprouts will push the lid upwards. Place the tray in the light (lamp or windowsill) and water daily. In no time, the plants will turn a vibrant green and grow upwards rapidly.

Day 7–9: Harvest & Enjoy

After a few days, the sprouts will push the lid upwards. Place the tray in the light (lamp or windowsill) and water daily. In no time, the plants will turn a vibrant green and grow upwards rapidly.
