Detox, energy & a fresh start

With this organicWheatgrass microgreens seeds(Triticum aestivum) you can grow your own green energy source in 10–12 days. Wheatgrass is rich inchlorophyll, antioxidants, vitamins and minerals, and is known for its cleansing and restorative effects.

Use it for fresh wheatgrass shots, in smoothies, or as part of a natural detox. Its slightly sweet, earthy flavor makes wheatgrass a classic among superfoods—and easy to grow at home.

Growing tips

Rinse the seeds thoroughly and let them soak for 8–12 hours. Rinse again and let them germinate for another ±12 hours in a colander or pot. Then spread the pre-germinated seeds evenly over a layer of ±2 cm of coconut fiber or potting soil and press down lightly.

Cover the tray with a damp cloth or lid and place it in a dark, warm place (approximately 20°C) for 2–3 days. Once the grass emerges, move the tray to the light. Water daily—preferably from below—and harvest after about 10–12 days, when the grass is 10–15 cm tall.

For best results, juice the fresh grass with a slow juicer or wheatgrass juicer.

BREEDING IN BRIEF

Day 1: Sowing and resting

Sprinkle the seeds evenly over the moist substrate and cover with a second tray. For the first few days, keep the seeds dark and moist, allowing them to develop strong roots and a firm base. The tray is slightly removed in the image to visualize the germination.

Day 3–4: Into the Light – Growth Begins

After a few days, the sprouts will push the lid upwards. Place the tray in the light (lamp or windowsill) and water daily. In no time, the plants will turn a vibrant green and grow upwards rapidly.

Day 7–9: Harvest & Enjoy

After a few days, the sprouts will push the lid upwards. Place the tray in the light (lamp or windowsill) and water daily. In no time, the plants will turn a vibrant green and grow upwards rapidly.
