Wheatgrass Microgreens Seeds – Detox & Energy Boost

Want to start your day with a green, healthy kick? Wheatgrass (Triticum aestivum) is an absolute classic in the world of superfoods. Packed with chlorophyll, antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals—and perfect for growing at home.

Use it for fresh shots, smoothies, or as a detox. With these organic wheatgrass microgreen seeds, you can grow your own green energy source in just over a week.

Why grow wheatgrass?

🌿 Powerful Detox – Helps your body detox naturally
🌿 Energy boost – Natural B vitamins and iron support vitality
🌿 Strengthens your immune system – Thanks to vitamin C, E and zinc
🌿 Alkalizing effect – Maintains your acid-base balance
🌿 Slightly sweet taste – Ideal for smoothies or wheatgrass shots

Wheatgrass isn't a leafy green like other microgreens. You grow it to juice it – and that juice is a real health boost.

Growing Your Own Wheatgrass Microgreens – Step by Step

Growing wheatgrass takes a little more time and preparation, but the process is simple – and the results are powerful.

  1. Pre-soaking & germination
    Rinse the seeds thoroughly
Soak in water for 8–12 hours
Then rinse again and let it germinate for about 12 hours in a colander or jar
  2. Sowing in a growing tray
Use coconut fiber or potting soil (layer of ±2 cm deep)
    Spread the pre-germinated seeds evenly
Press lightly and moisten with a plant sprayer
Cover with a damp cloth or tray to protect from light
  3. Dark germination phase (2–3 days)
Place the tray in a dark, warm place (±20 °C)
Keep the substrate slightly moist with misting
  4. Growth phase with light
Once the grass emerges, place the tray in the light
Use a sunny windowsill or grow light
    Water daily, preferably from below
After approximately 10–12 days the grass is 10–15 cm high and ready for harvesting
  5. Harvesting & Use
Cut the grass just above the substrate with a sharp knife
Squeeze the juice with a slow juicer or special wheatgrass juicer
Drink neat as a shot, or mix into your smoothie

🛑 Please note: wheatgrass is rich in fibre and not suitable for chewing raw.
